I like using the editing features in Resolve and I know they’re not fully developed yet but they’re not far off. I feel we really need an alternative to clunky old PP and Adobe’s restrictive cloud cuckoo land, and although FCPX is now at a genuine pro level, and easily the fastest NLE, I can’t get out of my mind how Apple discontinues software without a thought for the people who use it. The list is long and now add to it an apparent reluctance to produce a sensible adaptable working pro computer. So although I’ve used Apple products for years I’m slowly going off their business philosophy. BMD have moved Resolve along really quickly and as an NLE it’s almost there. I’d love to ditch FCPX and Adobe and be able to use a closely integrated edit-grading app without problem-ridden round trips. Anyone agree?
Any help will be apprecited.
